Here's my 5 #topvansof2016. In no particular order, these were my favorites. All Vaults except for the FOGs. The OTH x RBW pack was amazing, and such high quality. Tons of unique custom choices made them instant winners. Gosha can't lose. His Vans may not instantly sell out, but they're just odd enough to be instantly identifiable, and I feel that the style just might be one step ahead of everyone else. Must cop and put on ice for a few. The Blends Vans always come correct. They aren't new to Vans, and they know what the Vans consumers want. Bones! BUT what about the Born Free Old Skools right?! Well, you can't get more Americana than a classic b/w Old Skool with a red/white/blue jazz stripe, and since they were exclusive to the Born Free show, we were able to score pairs for our homies throughout the world. FOGGBOIZ. The underrated, surprise-drop for the FOG Sk8-Hi had me feeling nostalgic for those days when there weren't scheduled releases, and if you just happened to be free, you'd have a fighting chance at copping a hyped shoe. Pac Sun tried it the new way with the Era, and we all know how that went down. Skid Row tenants were the real winners in the end. #underthepalms #strictlywaffles
