This display case is legendary. Sneaker boutiques are about the shopping experience, and every great shop has something uniquely theirs, and I’d say that the fridge cases at @blendscm are one of the most recognizable in the world. These are the things that draw us to make lengthy detours while visiting other places, even if we don’t purchase anything. SoCal by far, has the most sneaker boutiques, some being well known brands from other parts of the world, who opened up shop here, to jump in on the thriving sneaker buying (and mostly reselling) vulture culture. To be honored with the opportunity to showcase some of my favorite pairs of Vans, in this legendary monument in sneaker culture, was the thing dreams are made of. @blends has always stood beside @vans and @vansvault, and represented them very well. Long before the Vans hype, and I’ve always acknowledged and respected that. I’m proud and humbled to have been able to do this for myself, but more importantly OUR Vans community.
