This post is for Logan. I took his advice, and went and picked up my first pair of Asics, and I am impressed. He said the Fabre’s were the new heat, and I plant to buy a pair, but in the olive green/white colorway. I’ve always judged Onitsuka’s to be an uncomfortable shoe, by their simple, flat design, but they’re quite the opposite, or at least the Sunotore 72’s are. I originally was going to get the Fabre high tops, but instead I chose this shoe, because it was just totally different than everything else. I also had read a little description on the tag that comes with the shoe, and this shoe was originally an olympic training shoe, specially engineered for running in the snow, which explains the holes cut out of the bottom of the shoe. Kinda dope. I still hate snow, and more than likely, these will never see the snow. Well, I just wanted to say thanks brotha’ Logan, for dropping some tips on what’s hot, and what’s not. I’m not ready to sell off all my Nikes, but damn near close! And I’m still collecting my Vans, I don’t care! The price of Vans, is a breath of fresh air, compared to Nikes!

Vans Caballero Full Cabs
Last weekend, I dropped in to UNDFTD SL, just to say what’s up and see what was new there, and I noticed they got their shipment of the anticipated Steve Caballero Full Cabs. I was going there, expecting to buy the new Cargo Sk8-Hi, but after seeing these, I knew where my money needed to be spent. This shoe came out in 89′, and skaters were finding that the shoe was too high, so they started cutting the top portion of the shoe off, to make it easier to skate in, which Vans soon caught wind of, and started manufacturing the shoe in a mid top design, which we all know as, the Half Cab. Dope.
(sorry for the stretched pics, I am new to this blog shit, and I probably need to resize my pics so they fit in the column, but I don’t have time right now!)
