Christmas gifts!

Christmas was good this year.  I only knew of one gift that I was for sure getting, and that was my Vans Vault x Brooks Eras, from Tintin.  The rest was all a surprise!  I received a universal dogbone socket wrench, a Carhartt beanie, and a Craftsman workwear jacket.  My dad had me for this year’s secret santa, and he got me Gran Turismo 5.  I still haven’t played it yet!  I also received a Nordstrom gift card, which I used the day after, at The Rack!  Thanks Jamie!  I also got a random coin sorter, because I am Mr. Scrooge!  Oh, and Nini had me, for our other friends gift exchange, and I got a The Hundreds “starry night” tee.  I also posted pics of my dad’s new pickups!  Some OTW Alomar premiums, and an Insignia mp3 player speaker case.

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium QS “Yellow Curb” (pickups!)

Picked up the Nike SB Dunk Low Yellow Curbs.  These just caught my eye for some reason.  I don’t purchase too many new SBs anymore, probably cause I’m on this Vans kick right now, for apparent reasons, but these are one of the better SBs of the year.  These were designed by Cal Surf, who also designed the Mosquito dunk a few years ago, and you can see the resemblance in the random materials and colors, as well as the painting of the midsole.

Stopped by Utility Board Supply in La Verne today, because they were having their tent sale, and everything inside the store was 20% off, so I picked up a few pairs of Wuhhhtapz, W-Taps, Dubtaps, just kidding.  The proper name is Doubletaps.  I completed the W)Taps set, by getting the black Authentics.  I predict in the future, that this model will surpass the Sk8-mids in terms of collectibility.

Tintin brought me home a gift last night.  We were just talking about this tree the other day, and had no idea they actually made replicas of the old Peanuts Christmas tree.  She found it at Ralphs, of all places, while picking up some stuff.

Burn Rubber x New Balance MT580 pickups

I missed out on the initial release of the Burn Rubber x New Balance MT580 drop, but was able to swoop up a pair from Shoelab in Texas…for retail.  Thanks to Chris Crawford at Shoelab for hooking people’s up!  They still have a pair of sz9’s left!
