iPhone for Verizon is almost here!

Crossing my fingers that tomorrow’s Verizon news conference is in regards to the iPhone :P

Patiently waiting. Anyone wanna weigh in on this, like if it’s a good idea to upgrade to it? The smart thing is to wait for a re-release of it, or an updated firmware version, or something like that, because I’m sure there’s gonna be some bugs to work out. My Blackberry is pretty stable for the most part, and the newer ones have better cameras now, which I really care about, but hmm…I’m getting bitten by the technology bug again!

97.1 Free FM no more.

As some of you may know, CBS radio affiliate 97.1 here in L.A. decided to switch formats from talk radio, to something much more needed here. Top 40! Because 10 other Top 40 stations weren’t enough. Anyways, I miss Adam, Frosty Heidi and Frank, and Mr. Leykis already, but at least Adam is already hosting his podcasts on carollaradio.com . Go check it out, and spread the word!

Verizon Fios is quick!

So today was the day, I ditched that old high speed internet technology, and upgraded to Verizon’s Fios fiber-optic internet and tv service.  I must say, I am impressed.  My computer is rather slow, but it’s not the ISP’s fault.  I subscribed to the internet (20 mb/s DL/2 mb/s UL) and HD package, and I will be paying roughly the same as Time Warner, somewhere around $120.  Expensive, but worth it.  Here is my real time internet speed test results:

16.8 mb/s download, and 1.73 mb/s upload
